Transparent pot with a draining system

Run through: 12.06 – 8.07.2019
Total batch weight: 3.15kg;
Bokashi fermentation proportions = 1:20 → 150g Bokashi starter + 3kg HOW;
HOW was minced in a blender; aerobic fermentation.

This batch was put to ferment in a very warm period of the year. No precautions were taken against possible organisms present in the fresh HOW put to ferment. The fermentation pot was allowed enough oxygen to enter during regular draining of the garbage juice, that maggots formed in the fermenting mass.
This batch was thrown away on 8.07.2019, after becoming completely infected with maggots.
